The Keiser University MBA

Keiser University offers the only U.S. MBA that is taught entirely in Chinese. This MBA is led by a faculty of experienced, Hong Kong based professors, with lectures conducted in Chinese. These lectures are conducted weekly, during the evenings Hong Kong time, through Blackboard video and with Blackboard LMS support. Learners are also invited to in-person "Up-Close Discussions" with the teaching team and Hong Kong industry leaders ranging from finance professionals to company directors and entrepreneurs.

The Keiser University MBA program is designed to challenge learners to achieve excellence in the business world so that they can become effective leaders in both the local and international marketplace. The curriculum is practical and balanced, covering important theories and practices for today's business professionals. It comprises of 12 courses following 3 main themes – understanding businesses, managing businesses and leveraging information to effectively make business decisions. Pre-requisite courses may apply.


MBA Accreditation


This degree is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). ACBSP and the Association to Advance College Schools of Business (AACSB) are the two established accreditations of graduate business programs. ACBSP focuses more on the balance between teaching and research while AACSB focuses more on research-oriented institutions. Along with Keiser University’s MBA, ACBSP accredits the business schools and programs of other leading universities such as University of Wisconsin, Purdue University, Texas A&M University and the City University of New York.

Faculty
The Keiser University MBA in Hong Kong is taught by Hong Kong-based professors with years of experience teaching MBA and business programs at the leading universities in Hong Kong. Team members have been approved and appointed by Keiser University as adjunct professors. The language of instruction is Chinese. The faculty team is led by Dr. Raymond Szeto.

Dr. Szeto has been working in the academic and business consulting field for over 30 years. He has taught many local and overseas PhDs, DBAs and MBA courses and is a specialist in research methodology and dissertation supervision. He has also taught master degree courses in Human Resources Management, Marketing Research, Business Organization and Management.

His clients include governments, NGOs, banks, retailers, import/export companies, manufacturing and commercial organizations in Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore, U.S, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan and Mainland China. Dr. Szeto has led consulting projects in corporate development strategy, marketing, business productivity enhancement, re-engineering, outsourcing planning, corporate talent management, strategic review and merging of business operations.

Dr. Szeto has a Ph.D. in Business Administration from The University of South Australia; Master of International and Public Affairs from The University of Hong Kong; Master of Philosophy (Information Systems) from The City University of Hong Kong; and Master of Applied Science (Operations Research) from University of Technology Sydney.
 
The teaching team all have PhDs in Business Administration or Philosophy from universities such as The University of Queensland, The University of South Australia and Bournemouth University.
Class Arrangements

  • The next intake will commence on 10th January 2023.
  • Online lectures every Tuesday and/or Thursday 7:30pm - 9:00pm. Lectures are typically scheduled for twice a week.
  • All assignments submitted through the Blackboard LMS. Assignments can be completed in Chinese.
  • Every quarter, learners have an opportunity to meet with the professors in person for a casual coffee chat.  The teaching team, industry professionals and fellow MBA learners are invited to this informative networking event.  The professors and guest speakers will give short talks.
  • Each course will also feature 2 hours of video lecture by Keiser MBA faculty in the U.S. with translation support.
Admissions & Fees
Application Process

To be considered for admissions to this degree program, all applicants must:
Complete the Online Application Form
The application also requests for a copy of your university or graduate school diploma(s) (which the university will verify), official transcripts, updated resume and copy of you HKID or another form of identification.
Pay a HK$950 application fee (which will be applied to your degree qualification verification). Payment details provided by email.
3 The first installment of the tuition fee must be paid within 7 days after the offer letter is issued.
4 Upon acceptance by the university, learner receives Keiser University student ID number, Blackboard accounts and course materials.

Tuition

The total tuition fee for the MBA program is HK$138,000. Details are as follows:
  • Tuition can be paid in 2 installments. Each installment is HK$69,000.
  • The tuition fee does not include the application fee.

Student Tuition Loan

Dah Sing Bank will offer a full tuition loan at a preferential interest rate and with a repayment of 5 years.  The monthly payment is about HKD2,000. Subject to TransUnion approval. Please inquire with your representatives for more details.
